HOUSTON HAWKS

The mission of our club is to promote the construction and operation of radio controlled soaring aircraft in public sport and competition flying events.  Our vision is to increase the public awareness of radio controlled sailplanes by including public observation and instruction. 

We welcome visitors and AMA licensed pilots to our flying field.  Due to field restrictions, gas powered planes are not allowed.  Electric powered sailplanes are allowed.

Our club offers a 30-day Introductory Pilot Program.  This allows any person to experience the excitement and challenge of radio-control soaring, whether they have a sailplane or not.

Our club has a group forum where we share questions and answers, ideas and opinions.  We also discuss club projects and events.  This forum is hosted by Yahoo! Groups and the group name is HoustonHawks.  Come join us!
